Alta HR won’t stay connected to Bluetooth

I have an iPhone 6s Plus and am running iOS 14, but this has been an issue since downloading iOS 13 (and with every upgrade of iOS 13).

My Alta HR can connect to Bluetooth, but will disconnect minutes later and have to be uninstalled from the app and reinstalled in order to be recognized again by Bluetooth. This is unacceptable. Why is this happening. I have tried everything:

Uninstalling the app, reinstalling the app, Turning off the phone, Turning on the phone, Turning off Bluetooth, turning on Bluetooth, making Bluetooth forget the Alta, then repairing, restarting the Alta, literally everything. The only thing that can make it reconnect to Bluetooth is uninstalling the Alta HR completely from the app and forgetting it from Bluetooth and then reinstalling it.

This is unacceptable. All-day-sync should work and stay connected. Please tell me how to make this work.

Of note, I actually purchased a Charge 4 and had to return it because the same exact problem occurred and when I called customer service, they said there was a Fitbit glitch with the app and Apple iOS since iOS 13 was released that they have been unable to fix with Bluetooth pairing. Is this the case? This is egregious if this is true. This needs to be fixed immediately. I can’t get notifications right the real functionality of my device. This is why I purchased the product. All of your customers who have iPhones deserve refunds if this glitch cannot be worked out immediately.

Thanks.
