I synched at 5 a.m.

 

At 7:45 p.m., I looked my screen is black. I fully charged my Alta HR yesterday.

I attempted to change but it became hot. It does not "buzz" when plugged in.

Hi @Nellita23  You have guessed correctly - it sounds as if your Alta HR has died. You have tried to restart and that didn't help so there is nothing else you can do. The Alta series were discontinued some years ago now so they are getting quite elderly. Time for a new tracker.
