Alta HR wont charge

Hello, 

I bought my Alta HR Back in September 2018, so its getting on a bit now (just over 5 years). I noticed whilst wearing it recently that it appeared to be in a reboot loop. If I set it on the desk and leave it alone for a bit, it eventually stops and boots properly, but as soon as I put it on again it'd start reboot looping again. 

I left it overnight on the desk and now it wont turn on, doesn't charge and doesnt even acknowledge being connected to the charger. 

I suspect this may be a battery problem if it cant provide a suitable voltage with the sensors running (hence rebooting when wearing it, but settling down when on the desk). I think the battery is however now kaput due to it not even turning on. 

What're the warranty periods for these? I suspect I'm WAY out with it being about 5 years and a couple of weeks old (Also, bought from Currys, not from the fitbit store)

Very long shot, but has anyone experienced this before and know if its fixable?

Hi @Simon720 Unfortunately you are right and it is WAY out of warranty.  Try Restarting   it several times, but if that doesn't help the  it is sadly dead
