One day, my Alta suddenly vibrated non-stop and died on me. Even after trying to recharge it, it does not work anymore... Any idea what happened?

I have the same problem whenever I reach 20,000 steps. All the fireworks go off and the vibration and then it drains the battery to zero. I dont even have the time showing from then on until the end of my exercise.i missed out on around another 6,000steps tonight because of this fault

LOL. Sorry just got your message. After my Alta incident, I got a Charge 4. 

 

2 days ago, it just died on me in less than 2 years. In total, I had 3 trackers for 6 years. The life span is just a little too short of expectation.

 

After much deliberation and feedback from friends, I have decided to switch from a Fitbitean to a "G"ean.

 

Until I get more positive feedback from friends on Fitbit durability, I will probably stick to "G" brand for the next 4-6years. To see how long it last.
