My battery on my Alta is at 2% and it has been on the charger for 2 days. I have cleaned both the device and the charger of any debris and I have tried 5 different USB ports and adapters. When I attach my Alta to the charger it does not charge, it doesn't even give any indication it has been connected to the charger. It just shows a little battery icon with an exclamation mark inside.
I have also tried to restart the device but because it is not reading the connection to the charger it will not restart.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can fix this issue? I can't afford to purchase a new charger or device.

Hi @RD314 first of all, your Fitbit shouldn't be on the charger that long, as it could fry the battery. Support can "see" more about your battery, so why not get with them. Reach out to customer support. Their phone number is (877)623-4997 between the hours of 4am-8pm PST Mon-Fri, and 6am-5pm PST on weekends, if you're in the USA. The phone number to call from the UK is: 0800 069 8505. Operation hours: 9:00am - 6:00pm. If you're not in the USA or if you prefer an online chat or email, then click for contact options

It normally is not on their that long. I've only done that because it won't charge. I keep taking it off ever now and then to see if it has gotten any charge but no luck. Normally, it just stays on the charger overnight or until charged and only when the battery is fully dead. I attempted to call support but they a high call volume and gave up after 20mins. I will try them again.

With everything going on, you'll wait longer for any customer service. I made it almost two hours for Costco. Just put it on speaker and do a few things around the house while you wait. They may need you to do a few things, but hopefully they will be able to tell if your battery has died. If it's dead, there really is no repair for it.
