My Alta HR is recording abnormally high heartrate. It’s 6am and apparently I’ve done 30 active minutes.. at 4am... when I was asleep? Yesterday when I was working at my desk again... 238 active minutes?
additionally the battery is draining very very quickly - fully charged yesterday morning and now at 25%.
And finally it won’t track my sleep.

ive looked through lots of other advice and have reset it multiple times. I’ve turned off heartrate then reset. I’ve tried the thing where you press the button for 15 seconds.

Can someone help??

Hello @Llksg Welcome to the Community Forums!. Thank you for the troubleshooting steps you've tried.

It looks like the sleep and Heart Rate inconveniences are related. Take into consideration that there are factors that can affect your Heart Rate, for example; HRV, including age, sleep quality, stress, and lifestyle choices, such as nutrition and exercise. For more information, please check:

For battery, battery life is the amount of time your Fitbit device runs after it’s charged to 100%. To maximize battery life, turn off or reduce your use of certain features. For more information, please check: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

If you have checked the troubleshooting steps, please let me know.  For active minutes, please confirm when did you start noticing this discrepancy?. In the meantime, please take a look at this help article to get more information about active minutes:

What are Active Zone Minutes or active minutes on my Fitbit device?

Specifically under "Active Minutes" in the link.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for your quick reply Wilson!

I’ve used this Fitbit more than a year and the issues aren’t related to my use or my activity. I am very fit and have been sleeping very well.

The issues have persisted since Monday this week. The most calories i have EVER burned is ~3200 on days that I have exercised and walked a long way / been active all day. Yesterday my Fitbit recorded almost 3300 calories burned - I went for one short run and sat down the rest of the day working. This isn’t accurate.

I’ve switched it on and off, repeatedly re-set it, turned my heartrate monitor off, reset it and turned it back on. Could a data update / app update have impacted this at all?? I’d really like your help with this.

Hi

just wondering if you got this sorted? My Alta HR is doing the same, recording heart rate much higher than my actual heart rate when I take my pulse and active minutes while I’m not active. Yesterday it says I burnt 4500 calories!!
