Vaguely blanketing all Alta HRs as not charging is a broad assumption Yes, several people have this issue and I've noticed the Altas, in general, are more prone to earlier than expected dead batteries. You're participating in the member-supported community forum. Outside of occasional moderation, Fitbit isn't monitoring conversations here, and if your goal is to reach them, you'd be better off contacting them through their support channels.
FWIW, I've got several Alta and AltaHR that people assumed dead. They just needed a reset.
