Alta is no longer tracking my steps

I no longer get the steps I have walked for the day; I only get miles which is not very encouraging because it increases so slowly

Is it just me??

Hi there, @NanLund01. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post.

Is your Alta not tracking your steps whatsoever? Have you checked your Fitbit dashboard to see if the steps are being updated?

It seems like your main goal has been changed from steps to miles. With that being said, I'd recommend checking this by following the steps below:

  1. Tap the Today tab > and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap your device image.
  3. Tap Main Goal, and choose your goal.

Hope this helps.

If you are talking about the phone app display circle near the top of the Today screen, try tapping the Edit button near top right.  If the steps show grayed out, just tap the plus sign with it to add it back.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
