The same here! What can we do about it?

Oddly enough mine started syncing last night.
Since my phone update I have too restart several times daily for it to work correctly. 🤬

I have the same issue on Pixel 3 after upgrade to Android 11. Rebooting device didn't help.

Me too. Just yesterday, after alta reboot using button on charger, it will now start syncing but only enough to reflect today's steps. Won't finalize the update, so no sleep, heart rate, etc. When I synced again today, same thing but yesterday's steps were wiped out. Weird. Ya suppose anyone will pay attn to us given all the focus is on new products??

Same here. Pixel 3, Android 11. Have had an Alta HR for years, and only recently it's been losing sync.
Bought an Inspire 2, and it works fine. Bought a brand new Alta HR, and it's losing sync, even when trying to update firmware.
Have tried restarting phone, the 3 button press for the Alta HR charging cable, removing all bluetooth devices, uninstalling and reinstalling Fitbit app.

Same here. My Alta HR quit syncing automatically and now when tracking my exercise goals, it's tracking me as elliptical when its set to auto track various exercises. Today I walked one hour and the active minutes register properly, miles are on target and steps, yet it logged my exercise as 24 minutes under elliptical. This is the 2nd time this week. All previous weeks have been logging walking accurately.
What's changed?

I'm having the same exact problem. I'm planning on contacting Fitbit about this but let me know if you find a solution.

Same problem here (Pixel 3) except it is also killing the battery presumably because it's constantly trying to sync and failing. I'm getting 24-36 hours of battery life on my Alta HR after the upgrade to Android 11 (had been 6-7 days prior to the update).

I've been having problems with the auto sync too. It won't sync for days at a time if I don't open the app and wake it up. I checked ALL of my settings. Nothing. It's gone completely dead twice this month because it didn't sync and tell me the battery was low.

I went so far as to delete the app and reinstall (no help). Then I tried deleting my Alta from the app and re-add it. It won't let me add it now! I get the 4 digit security code on my Alta but when I enter it it just cycles "connecting" and then says something went wrong. This better get fixed soon or I'm finding a different brand. I've also had issues with my scale syncing.

The fitbit syncing issue seems to be affected majority of the users who have upgraded to Android 11. Fitbit has to work with Google to fix the issue.

Updated Fitbit app (new update pushed out today). Will initially find the Alta HR, but won't pair/connect after 4 digit code is entered despite many tries, reboots, etc.

Weirdly I synced this device to my fitbit app on my ipad, and that worked fine. I went about my day and all of a sudden my fitbit synced to my fitbit app on my pixel phone and it works all fine now. I didn't even re add this device to my pixel. All very weird but I'm not mad.

Just tried this as well. Synced to iPad, works fine. Didn't have to re-add to Pixel 3. But it's having the same problem: keeps losing sync/won't sync.

Same as you. For kicks I tried syncing to my husband's work phone (iphone) which worked. Can't get it to recognize/pair with my Pixel 3A, after syncing issues and "forgetting" bluetooth device.
Just chatted with Fitbit customer service. They said Pixel is not a supported device, therefore it's not going to work reliably (if at all). Sync on a supported device if possible. https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315.htm
