Alta only displays when on charge

My Alta only displays when on charge, and initially shows a battery symbol at 75% (diagonal lines) As soon as I remove from Charger and tap screen nothing happens just a blank screen. If I plug back into charger I get the battery symbol showing 75%(Diagonal Lines) and I can step thro the other menus. But no matter how long i leave it on charge I get a blank screen when I take it off charge. 😥

Plus I followed every suggestion of resetting Alta by pressing button on USB charger 3 times , using a different charger but same problem
