Alta only works when on charger

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I haven't used the Alta for a while.  So I charged it up fully and synced it to an account.  But as soon as I removed the charger cable it showed no signs of life.

When I plugged it back into the charger cable it came back to life and responded to the taps to cycle through the displays.

I have reset it but this makes no difference.

Thx

Tom

Hi @TomChignell  sometimes when the device isn't used for a long time and the battery is completely dead, it doesn't revive. You can keep trying the restart button to see if it helps, but it may be your Alta has died.

Hi @RitaRat  if your Alta has died, just as @TomChignell described, you can only try to restart it. If it doesn't come back to life, you can dispose of it as you wish. There isn't much that can be done with a dead battery.

Thanks @Odyssey13 but I don't think that the evidence supports a battery problem because the battery shows as fully charged.  I'll try the repeated reset and see if that helps.

I have the exact same thing!! I think it’s a fault tbh. Mine will charge fully but turns itself Of after a few mins until I put it on charge and wake it back up.. it’s very annoying and would love some help!!!

Exact same issue. How do you reset?  Do you just keep removing and adding the device?
