Tonight as I was getting my daughter from the tub, she bumped my Fitbit and it fell into the water. I grabbed it out and within a few minutes got it in a bowl of rice. It had been turning on, but now it’s not and my app says no device found. Did I ruin my Fitbit?

Hi @Reba0923 keep it in the rice for at least 48 hours and then clean it, especially the connectors and charge it. Don't charge it until you have all the moisture out of it. Restart it while it's on the charger a few times and see how it goes. Let's hope for the best. Let us know what happens.

@Odyssey13 This may be a stupid question, but how do you restart it?

There is a small button on the charger, which is pressed three times and then the Fitbit logo flashes on the screen. That is restarting the device. It's similar to restarting a computer or smartphone in that you don't lose anything, but it often helps with small glitches.

@Odyssey13 My charger doesn’t even have one of the reset buttons 😞
