Alta won't charge and notifications not coming up

Hi pls help I use my Alta as an alarm clock as I dont hear well so vibration alerts me. It wont charge shows a half charged battery. Doesnt vibrate when the charger connects. I've cleaned it, reset it and wiped it but still not working. Reading other threads suggests it is broken. What else can I do. Please help!

I've sent your information to the Customer Support team for further assistance with this, but was informed that you already have a case created or that you already got in touch with them. You should be getting a reply soon. 

 

Regarding the notifications, please let me know if you're referring to the silent alarms (vibration) or if you're referring to the notifications (call, text, calendar). 

 

Let me know about the outcome.

Hi thanks I would appreciate it if someone could contact me urgently on this. It is the notifications (calls and texts) that I need desperately to work as my house alarms are all connected via calls to alert me if there is a problem.

Unfortunately it was broken and I had to buy a new one. Pretty poor service as I'd expect them to last beyond 2 years!!

Thank you for your reply, I'm sorry to see that it wasn't possible to resolve the problem with the Alta not charging. 

 

It is particularly difficult when the device is no longer covered by the warranty, but even tough Support is eager to help with any problem you may experience with the product, they do need to adhere to the official warranty policy, this would start counting from the original date of purchase.
