Hello @Lavildsen

Hopefully I can help. I think trying to set up your Alta as a new device would be the best way to go about it. You will not lose any of your data setting your Alta up as a new device as your data is held with the the Fitbit Servers. However, you will lose any data you got “after” you last successful sync. That most likely occurred when you took it off your old phone.

Before you begin make sure (if you still have your old phone) that your not showing on your old phones Bluetooth. If it is please remove it from that Bluetooth.

Here is how you set up your Alta again as a new device. Please follow these instructions carefully and do not skip a step:

  1. Remove the Alta from the Bluetooth settings on your new phone. Your on an Android so tap unpair.  If your Alta is not showing on your Bluetooth at all proceed to step 2
  2. Turn off other nearby Bluetooth connections.
  3. Check if your Fitbit App is updated
  4. Log out of your  Fitbit app and reboot your new Samsung Galaxy S22+.
  5. Restart your Alta: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186.htm
  6. Log back into your Fitbit app as you normally would with your email address and password, tap your profile picture then scroll down and tap Set Up a Device.
  7. Select Alta from the list of trackers and follow the onscreen instructions. When asked if you want to replace the Alta say yes.

😃 I’m hoping this works and provides you with a solution. Please come back and let me know how it went.
