Alta won’t turn on

My Fitbit is charged but if I don't turn it on for about 30 minutes it won't turn back on. But when I connect my charger it shows that it's charged and then it turns back on again. It happened to me about 2 years ago so I wasn't able to wear my Fitbit since then.

Thanks for the details shared. If the situation with your Alta persists and you haven’t tried so you can restart your device by following the steps in this link How do I restart my Fitbit device?. I have already re-started my new Alta twice and it will not stay on even though it has a 75% charge. I just threw an old one out for the same problem. The fix I read on line says to go into the app, then device, then turn on “keep alive and always connected” . Well in my app there is no such setting. Help!
