Alta won't work unless it's connected to the charger

My Alta shows time and all features until it is on charging. As soon as I remove it from charging, the screen becomes blank and doesn't show anything on taps or hand movement.

 

Have tried restart multiple times, removed data, app and resynced but nothing is fixing the issue. Can anything be done to fix this?
