I have had no issues with all my fitbits.   This one in past week has began to drain the battery quickly.    I have tried to restart 3x now.   I have charged it fully and it dies quickly.    Why is this happening.   I try to sync as often as possible.   I work during the day and it does not make the whole night!!!!!   Help me please.

The same happened to mine. The battery gives problems with little more than 1 year. I saw a tutorial on Youtube on how to replace the battery, I bought once and exchanged it.
The Fitbit Alta HR battery is at 45 mAh 3.8 V 2mm x 10mm x 20mm. Maybe you want to try to do the same. Good Luck!

  I may try to do so at have my technical inclined 21 year do so.   Lol   I am not so much confident with electronics. Lol

Mine battery also just suddenly started draining very quickly and I cannot make it more than 7 hours without a charge.  I have had the alta for 15 months and have been told that they wont do anything because the warranty has expired.  Interesting that the batteries are failing just after the warranty is up.

My Fitbit also started doing the same since a few days ago. Battery lasts hardly a day, and for the first time it died in the middle of my workout Yesterday. Super upset. Mine is almost 3 years old, and I haven’t had any issues until now. Has it really come to the end of its lifetime , or can we replace the battery?

I did an online chat and a personal phone call to Fitbit.  They are not willing to do anything than offer me a 25% discount on a new fitbit.  Very disappointing.  This is my second fitbit- I had no problems with my first one, just wanted to upgrade.  Cant understand why the battery went from fantastic to nothing in a matter of days.
