Hi,
I have tried to reset my Alta several times and I know the battery is fully charged and it goes blank within 1/2 hr. Please advise.

Mine is doing the same thing the last 2 days. It's fully charged then I take it off to shower and it goes blank then when I charge it, says it's completely dead.

Hello @JustAsh87 and @Carolyn0702, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the details that were shared in both of your posts, thanks for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting too. Let me share with you that the battery of our Alta device was designed to last 5 days but this also depends on how frequently you use it’s features. That said, I recommend you charging your Fitbit device with a USB port from a computer or a UL-certified outlet into the wall and then turn off all the features that you don’t use that much. After doing so, please this help article for more tips and recommendations.
Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

The battery doesn't even last 5 days now and all I use it for is step tracking and time. I can't deactivate calls coming in on it anymore for some reason but there's no reason for it to be completely full then completely dead after taking it off to shower. No one calls me so it's not vibrating to death. There is something wrong with mine but I'll just spend $20 and get a smart watch from Walmart instead of spending $100+ on a device that lasts less then a year.
