Battery not charging on my Alta

Had my Fitbit charged all night and still not charging. Just shows a battery picture with an exclamation inside the battery. What is wrong?  Please help.

I'm very sorry for the difficulty and I would like to confirm if you have followed the suggestions provided in the following help article:

As mentioned through the link above, dust and debris can accumulate over time. Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and following the rest of tips could work to resolve this matter.

Good morning

My Fitbit charges but it won't display anything just a picture with an exclamation mark inside the battery. It won't show me my other information such as time or steps etc. It will sync with the app on my phone and show me my info there but not on my Fitbit like I use to see. What's the problem. Help please
