Fitbit was fully charged the night before. The battery drains within a day. Today the screen went black. App said it was dead but the HR lights were solid green and wouldn’t turn off.

I have the same issue, read through all 6 pages of this thread, and executed all of the ideas. My Alta HR has been used for 21 months. Now what? Will Fitbit repair them?
I don't think these devices should be disposable and at such a short period of time.

I had the same issue... but my screen wasn’t completely black... you could see a shadow of the pixels in certain light. I knew that the battery was good as I had plugged it the day before, but I plugged it anyway. Left it for a few minutes but still nothing. I tapped it, like I used to do to switch screens and it came suddenly back on! Don’t know how long it’s going to last though...

Thank you for going through the trouble of all that to tell us what happened!
I am relieved to know that others have had this exact issue and got it to come back from the dead!
I will let mine completely do the same and in 5 days, reinstall and recharge and hope it stops dying each night.
Thanks again!!

It's 2020, and I have this issue. I've had 2 fitbits, and am not getting any sleep data as it charges overnight and is dead again by day's end. Is there a fix for this? Has a solution been found?
