Black screen on Alta HR

The device just stopped responding today. I went to tap the screen, and it stayed black. Green light is on in the back, but it's no longer flashing. I tried using the charging cable to restart it, but it won't vibrate when it's connected. Pushing the button does nothing. Everything else that I plug into my charger charges. The phone app says that I'm at 79% battery.

 

Currently have the app on Pixel 3.

As of today 3/26/20, I have no  lights and my Fitbit won't reset

I'm having a similar problem.  Alta HR appears to be charged but the screen is black.  Green lights on back are on.  Doing the reset from the charger did not help.

I am having a very similar issue. No green light, suddenly went to black screen. I charged it overnight and now it is scrolling through the stats very fast, still no green light and won't synch.

This happened to me too.  The Fitbit started flashing through all the screens a couple of days ago and I was unable to reset it.  I called and a Fitbit representative was able to reset it and it worked again for a day, but now the screen has gone black and I'm unable to get a response from it at all while plugged in.  The lights on the back are solid green so I know it has some battery power.  I had to go back to using my old Flex.  It works perfectly, but I miss the functions of the Alta.
