Hi
I just started using the ALta HR fit bit and am verify confused with food log.
How or where do you set how many calories you want to consume. ?
The log automatically set that I should eat 1045 calories but I find that too low... the minimum anyone should eat is 1200.....
and how do I set it if I want to really eat a certain percent of carbs , protein and fat ?
Thanks

When setting up a food plan, it's possible to set your own calories, note those are fixed calories to eat, so if being active alot, the calories set to eat will remain the same.
Best using a deficit, as being more active, more can be eaten. The calories to eat dynamically change.
When the calories are to little to eat, possible to choose a smaller deficit plan.
The macro breakdown of foods eaten are displayed in the fitbit app on the food log page, or by 'daily totals' on the food log page (fitbit.com).
Having to be aware of food choices made to change the macro breakdown.

About the macros... is there not a way to see the actual grams of each category? I find that far more useful than a percentage.
