That's quite normal and it's working fine.

As well as tracking calories burned through activity your fitbit also tracks your BMR calories. These are the calories you burn just keeping your body alive (even when asleep). They are calculated from your profile settings for age, height, weight etc so you needn't be wearing your fitbit to get them.

Is there anyway to delete this? I’m finding it’s interfering with my calorie counting

@chloebrookesss there isn't a way to stop BMR calories being counted I'm afraid. But when counting calories as part of a weight management plan then you need to include them - you really do burn those calories.

You are burning these calories! If you turned this feature off, your app wouldn't be tracking all the calories that you lose and your calorie-counting would actually be less accurate!
