My fitbit connects to charger and buzzes (very briefly) with the charge bar showing. But after hours of leaving it plugged in it won't charge. I have cleaned the connection plugs on both watch and charger with rubbing alcohol. Also reset the watch several times. One of the 3 plugs on the watch appears to be scratched. Could this be the problem and is it fixable/repairable?
Also I have thought about buying a used Fitbit because I have loved my Fitbit Alta HR...if I do this is it easy to reprogram for my use and with my fitbit ap??

Hi @MBDeWall I does sound as if your Alta HR has died. I doubt that the scratch you see would stop it charging. Try the suggestions in THIS Help Article if there is anything there you haven't tried.
If you do go the route of buying a second hand Alta HR, it is very easy to set it up. In the app go to your account page (avatar/icon in the top left of your app home screen) and select Set Up a Device and do what it tells you.
