Since I updated my app yesterday my Alta HR is only counting steps some of the time. It is incredibly frustrating! It never gave me problems before. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, reset the device, deleted and reinstalled the device, turned my iPhone off and on again, checked all the Bluetooth etc. settings multiple times—what is going on?

Hello @Purrplegirl, welcome to the Community forums. Sorry for the late response.
I'm sorry to see that you've been having trouble with accuracy of steps recorded.
Before considering other options, could you please provide a few extra details about this? Let me know if you mean that you're getting less steps at the end of the day than what you usually had or if you're able to see the device is not counting steps for certain periods of time during the day.
In the meantime, please make sure that you've tried the restart procedure you mentioned as described in this article: How do I restart my Fitbit device? Then check if you continue to experience the same behavior.
In addition, you can find more useful information about the accuracy of Fitbit devices here: How accurate are Fitbit devices?
Please keep me posted.

Hi, it’s definitely been working better lately but every once in a while I notice it happening again. Sometimes it won’t count steps when I’m looking at the step count display. Even if I stop looking at it and move my arms normally and count a test number of steps then check—it won’t have moved, it gets stuck on a number. The day I reported the problem it was doing it repeatedly and I’d say it didn’t count 2000 or more steps that day. It only seems to act up while being observed and now it only happens rarely. I don’t know what’s going on.
