Device not recording Walk activity with GPS

Model: Fitbit HR Alta

Device: iPhone 6s (IOS 12.4.5)

Question: For almost a week now, my Fitbit is no longer logging/tracking my walk route? I have my stats with GPS route info up until 2/18/2020 and then no more routes logged after that. I always have my Bluetooth and GPS on as I am trying different/new routes. Any ideas why this data is all of a sudden no longer available on my stats?

Hi @TulipBlooms76, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the details that were shared with me. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if you experienced this issue with other exercises or just with Walk? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to restart your Alta HR following the next steps:

  1. Plug your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your tracker will begin charging.

  3. Press the button on your charging cable 3 times within a few seconds, briefly pausing between presses. The button is on the end of the charging cable that is plugged into your computer. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
  4. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

@RicardoFitbit   Your troubleshooting description seems to be aimed at fixing an Exercise app issue.  The Alta HR doesn't have an Exercise app.  It appears the @TulipBlooms76 is having problems with MobileRun.

There are other users in the iOS forum reporting issues with mobileRun.  The exercise times are incorrect (like exercise is recorded in the worn time zone), "not enough data available", and things like that are being described.
