I've had my Alta since November 2018 but in the last 6 months or so it's started to shut down / turn itself off. I've been through the re-set procedure several times and it works for a while but then shuts down again. It did this yesterday while I was on a park run so I lost my step data for the run and although I re-set it yesterday afternoon I've just noticed it's gone off again now so again I've lost whatever steps were clocked up. I'm very disappointed it's now begun to prove itself unreliable and hope that the moderator will escalate this to the support team as I would like to claim under my 2 year warranty for repair/replacement.

I was informed by our Customer Support team that they already provided you assistance with the inconvenience you experienced with your Alta device.
