My Alta HR is charged and the green lights are flashing but there's nothing on the screen; it's black. I've tried resetting, charging it overnight, standing on my head and chanting, etc., but I can't get it to display anything at all. I welcome anyone's sage advice.
Thanks!

Same here. Recording activity on the app but screen is blank

Same problem. I'd like to know if it can be reset, or just thrown out.

Contacted Fitbit and looks like it's too bad, too sad, since it's no longer under warranty (I bought it in January 2019). Best they could do was offer me a 25% discount on a new one. Don't think I'll bother.

Tried resetting mine several times today. No joy.

Got mine in 2018 so no warranty for me either. I'll get another one eventually.

Mine is the same, however on the app it also says “no device found” And won’t sync. It’s a bit disappointing to have to throw out a device that is less than 2 years old!?

Hi, My Fitbit Alta HR also stopped charging and turning on at all. I reset it several times over the last three days by holding down the button for 3 seconds over and over. It worked twice, but today won't turn on at all. It is about 2 years old. Please advise.

Oddly enough mine is the same age so out of warranty! Still tracking activity to the app but no display. Resetting didn't help.

Very odd that we're all having this issue at the same time with these fitbit. Do you think they're only built to last 2 years so you'll buy another or is that overly cynical?

Mine went blank yesterday, stopped recording steps. Recharged it last night, this morning it worked for a short time, now it's black as night.
Do you think it's possible Fitbit decided to shut this model down for everyone?

From what I can see posted here it's b very odd we're all having this issue with the same model fitbit at the same length of time since purchase.

Yep. My Alta HR died a year and a half afterwards, too. When I contacted support they offered me the same 25%. Considering that Fitbit is the leading company for fitness trackers, you'd think their products would last a bit longer.

No, that's certainly not cynical. Yes, I definitely think they're only built to last 2 years [or less] so we come back and buy another.
