Fitbit Alta HR not displaying anything

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Alta HR is charged and the green lights are flashing but there's nothing on the screen; it's black. I've tried resetting, charging it overnight, standing on my head and chanting, etc., but I can't get it to display anything at all. I welcome anyone's sage advice.

Thanks!

same thing happened to me.  It was working one minute and not the next.

.Agree that it's strange everyone is having this same problem at the same time

I have the exact same problem.  Many seem to have stopped working at the same time.

I too am having the same exact issues.  Mine is the same age as all of yours and out of warranty!  I tried contacting customer service yesterday and was in chat for over 1/2 hour before they said to fully charge, sync before removal from charge, stnc 3x in the day and let it die, then immediately charge.  It died at 3am this morning and customer service is available and cannotbe reached.  I then decided to read the responses and your comments are what I see.  Seems very suspicious and I guess Fitbit wants us to upgrade.  😂

Same here.  Fitbit (2 yrs old) will reset and charge, but otherwise a blank screen.  Spoke to customer service and warranty is expired.  No help.  Asked for suggestions....response is buy a new one.  Odd this is happening at the same time to us!

Conspiracy to force purchase of new!

I will try Samsung if it doesn't start acting right, like it was 3 days ago.

The same thing has happened to me. I’ve done all of the troubleshooting suggestions and nothing has worked. My is not syncing either. My Fitbit is only 1.5 years old. Sadly, I will not be purchasing another one. Products that cost this much should last longer thanthat.

Yes! It seems that we are all having the same issue...Mine is also about 2 years old. It started going completely blank about 3 weeks ago...I reset, it starts, works for a couple of days...it dies again...I reset, it starts and works until it doesn't. It is now happening every day!. I am now charging it, but I am sure it will do this cycle again until it dies...

Too bad as I really like the ALTA HR and as many, I bought several bands for it.  Not sure why they discontinued this model. Maybe they want us to buy a new one every 2 years? It is getting to be too expensive for what it does!
