I have had my Fitbit around 2 years. A few months back, I had to start resetting it frequently as it started shutting off with alarms or for no reason. Now, it’s hard to reset. Even if I’m able to reset it, it will on stay on unless connected to the charger. Please help! I use it religiously and l’m lost without it.

Hi @DDilly,
It sounds like a battery issue. You mentioned you got your device two years ago, correct? This is unfortunately the time when devices start to die. I would consider upgrading if you can. Either that, or depending on where you live, if you purchased a warranty with it, you may be able to get it replaced. In the US, I think you may be out of luck with the warranty, however, I heard in Europe and other countries that they have a longer warranty.

I would also like to get some advice on this topic as my Fitbit is roughly a yr and 1/2 old and just last week it turned itself off for no reason. I reset it and it was fine, then 2 days after it again turned itself off with the battery fully charge, however, it will not stay on unless it is hooked up to the charger. I contacted Fitbit help and was instructed to let the battery fully die, but I had to sync it every day so they could see I would assume what's wrong with it. The problem is it will not sync unless it is on the charger, every time I sync it, the battery charges until it syncs then I take it off and it shuts off. This seems very counterintuitive since I am trying to get the battery to fully drain; have you experienced this at all? I will take any suggestions...
