Yesterday, my Fitbit (HR Alta) went dark on me. This happened once before, and when I plugged it into the charger it came back. Not this time, though. It came "alive," so to speak, but is stuck on yesterday's data (unless I walked 9,000 steps in my sleep, which I'm pretty sure is unlikely). Any suggestions, or is it just dead? It is definitely fully charged since yesterday morning.

odd that mine did the same (except won't come alive at all) around the same time as yours... I wonder if fitbit launched a bad update?

Same here. Went dark. Stopped tracking my steps. I plugged it in (it’s now fully charged) and it did track my sleep last night but is still dark. I set a test alarm and it did not vibrate.
my money is on a bad update. Any suggestions? I can’t afford to buy a new one, so I might be SOL.

So now it seems to be tracking everything when I look at the app but the band itself is dark, so no watch-style features. Also, the alarm did work.
again, my money is on a buggy update.
