Ever since Thursday afternoon (June 25 2020) when Fitbit released an update to the Android app; the fitbit Alta I have (not an Alta HR, just plain Alta) stopped showing the total time exercised, and the calories burned during the exercise. Alta only syncs the "steps" but minutes exercised and calories burned are zeroed out; and also does not sync (graphically or otherwise) how many steps or calories per minute or the time within the 12 hour bounds set for the day. Does not "reboot" when trying to reboot either.
Can Fitbit resolve with an upgrade or update to the Android app? I have a Samsung Galaxy S5E notepad. Does not work with a Windows 10 app either, same issues. Or would Fitbit want me to replace this Alta? If so, would Fitbit mind letting me know?

I’m having a similar issue on my iPhone - same time frame, same Alta model, but my steps and calories aren’t syncing with MyFitnessPal.

This has also happened to me also the same time frame, very frustrating, please get this sorted.

Seems like it is their apps on Android that seems to cause an issue. Not properly resolved yet for me yet. Only response I have had was on Twitter from some moderator asking me what my model was.
I am unsure if Fitbit has stopped its support for Alta, being somewhat older (as in 3 .5 years old).. Wonder if they want everyone to upgrade to a newer model?
