Fixing in South Africa

My fitbit alta HR suddenly had a line or 2 through the screen.

Then today out of nowhere it flashed through all the screens and now it won't even sync or charge.

Can it be repaired in Cape Town or are they just not worth repairing - it's only 1yr and half old!!!

Or can they only be repaired overseas, like the UK

Hi Johnny, thanks that has reset it, but it's now still scrolling through all the screen options as it did before and the app can't find the fitbit to sync.

It would seem there is an issue with the screens?

Thee is no authorized repair of Fitbits anywhere.  I don't know what the warranty is in South Africa; 1 year in U.S.; 2 years in Europe.  I suggest trying Fitbit support  to see if they have any advice, check on warranty, and maybe offer a discount on a new device.

Thanks, already checked the warranties and they are 1 year.

I'll try the support and see if there is anything they can do.
