Got a new phone, Fitbit can’t find it

I got a new phone for Christmas, and I can’t sync it because the app can’t find the device. I’ve tried multiple times and turned the Bluetooth off and back on.

As per other postings, I was given an Alta HR from Santa, and cannot connect  to my Samsung A40. What  possesses a multinational organisation to market a product which patently cannot work with current devices. I feel really cheated. Can FiBit please help??

It's an iphone 11 with an operating system that supports the app/Fitbit.
It's still connecting to my old phone (currently acting as more like an
ipod.) Is there something I need to do on my old phone so that my new phone
can find it? I hate to delete the app because it will lose all my data.
Anyone?

I cannot pair either.  I have the LG G7 One which is not on the list.  Surprises me since I have only had it a year.  Interestingly enough it was paired but I unpaired it following the steps to fix issues not getting text messages.  Now I am farther into a bigger issued that I didn't plan on and still not getting texts.  😞
