My tracker seems to work. Over the course of a couple of months my Fitbit app stop showing me any heart rate data. At first it was just resting heart rates that didn't syncing. I found that to be annoying as I determine how relative healthy I am to my previous self by this measurement. (And all the old data was still there) Then the sleep stages stopped appearing. I thought "alright no big deal... I like the sleep stages but I'll live." But now it won't show me ANY heart rate data new or previous.
I've tried turning AUTO heart rate syncing off and back . I've turn it to just ON too. I changed daily sync to continuous and back. I logged out of my account and back in. I've uninstalled the app entirely and reinstalled it. I've made sure it wasn't the FitBit itself. I charged it to full and I adjusted the band several times different ways.
At this point, I'm at a lose. I'm pretty sure it isn't my Altra HR, but I'm open to any suggestions or if anyone else is having this issue.

Well you have done all the troubleshooting steps I would suggest Except for restarting your tracker a few times, so give that a go. The tracker may be recording the data but not sending it through to the app so that may fix it. Let us know how you go

Hi @Wong34. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂
As @NellyG said, there's not much else that can be advised, however, I also think there's something we can give a try to.
First, make sure to restart your tracker as Nelly said and then, after you've done this, attempt to set up your tracker as a new device. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.
Hope this helps and please, let me know if you need anything else!

Ok so I removed the tracker on the app and set it up again with settings, prompts and goals. It didn't work. I think it is the application itself.

Same here; it simply doesn't show any heart rate data on the dashboard, old or new. I've gone through the suggested steps and nothing happened.

I have been having similar issues, but I thought to reset the Alta you were supposed to press the button 3 times?
Regardless, I reset mine and I hope it starts tracking my sleep again and stops losing my heart rate.

Hi everyone! Good to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂
I'm sorry to hear that some of you are having problems with the heart rate information not showing up.
Now, for those who are having problems with the heart rate not being recorded from your tracker itself, you could try giving it a restart as @NellyG has already suggested.
For those that are not able to see the heart rate tile on the Fitbit app, I'd recommend first to make sure to update the Fitbit app to the latest version available on your app store and then, if you're not able to see the heart rate tile still, scroll all the way to the bottom on your dashboard and tap on Edit. If the heart rate tile is not available, you will have the option to enable it here and after that, it should stay visible.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more help with this!

Having the same trouble. Fitbit driving me crazy

Mine hasn't tracked since March 5th, dealt with customer support, they had me try all the fixes before finally saying this on the 27th March -
"We apologize for the delayed response. Currently, this a known issue however, we may not be able to provide a fix in the near future. We'll continue to monitor the situation and keep our team informed of its impact. We're sorry for the trouble, and understand this isn't the resolution you're hoping for. Let us know if there's anything else we can do to assist you."
Very frustrating when I purchased the Alta Hr specifically for this feature.

I have tried everything that anyone suggested. It didn’t do it til I got the news that Google bought Fitbit. Maybe it something they done. I then learn that the Alta Hr is being phased out!! Maybe this is the way to get us Alta people to upgrade to Inspire etc ?????

I have had this problem twice. The restart/reboot fixes did not work. I then deleted the app, reinstalled and it fixed the problem. No data was lost.

Hi,
I'm experiencing similar problems. My tracker shows hr but isn’t showing up in the Exercise graphs, I did find in it the Heart Rate graphs. Hope this helps. I think they need to update app.
