I have had to start monitoring my blood pressure. and I have been comparing the pulse readings of my fitbit to the blood pressure cuff. and as long as my pulse is below 100 they say the same number as long as my blood pressure is over 100/70 but as soon as my pulse hit 120 bpm my fitbit rarely will even register my pulse.
and if my blood pressure is under 100/70 the pulse readings seem to be almost always too low. yesterday I was 81/41 and between the two devices was a 30 beats per minute difference in pulse. I have had my blood pressure machine checked and it is accurate. has anyone else noticed that blood pressure effects the readings or that high pulse doesnt always show up?
