How can I adjust the brightness of my Alta display? It is very faint. Thank you.

It's great to see you here, @Annie888.
The screen on Fitbit Ace, Fitbit Alta, and Fitbit Alta HR is dimmed when not in use. It wakes up automatically when you turn your wrist towards you (known as Quick View), or you can double-tap your tracker where the display meets the band as shown below.
To advance between screens and see your stats, give your device a tap. Note that Ace, Alta, and Alta HR don't respond to swipes. If your display is too dim, you can restart the device by following the steps in the article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?.
Let me know the outcome.

Thank you. I know it is dimmed when not in use, but I want it brighter when it is in use.

Did you ever get an answer to this? I am having the same trouble with mine, I can’t even see it in the daylight

Hi. I restarted the device (Fitbit Alta HR) by following the steps in the article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?. The outcome: It is still dimmed; very difficult to see what is displayed on the screen.

No reply! I think some FitBits are faulty and just have a dim display. 🙁

I'm having the same problem. And let down by Fitbit's lack of support.

Me, too. Cannot see it outdoors.
