How to get condensation out of my fitbit

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My fitbit, that was replaced last year, started to develop condensation on the display. But it seem to be working fine otherwise. I always remove it to shower, and have no idea how or way it started. I called fitbit customer service, and they only seem to want me to upgrade my device. I really don't want to do that, my fitbit is is still in good working order. Any ideas?

Hi @MeYa1980  try placing your Alta HR into a dry bowl of rice for about 48 hours and see if that removes the excess moisture that is in it. Be sure to keep your Fitbit out of the bathroom. I usually charge mine when getting a shower. Let us know how things go for you.

Hello @Odyssey13,

Thank you very much for your suggestion, it worked really well. I had to leave my Fitbit it in the rice for over 72 hours to get everything out, but it is now back to normal.

Thanks again for your help!
