I have the Alta HR.
Go into the Fitbit app and then select the Alta watch.  Find the Customize Display menu and open it. There should be a way to select what is shown on the Alta with the battery being one of the options. Each tap on the Alta will display the next metric in the order they appear in the list. You can rearrange the order. Hope that helps.
