Follow all steps suggested. P Push reset button 3 times with a pause in between th end doubled tap the screen. No one ever told me to double tap Is the only thing that worked

Hi @Sierra1216  If restarting as @Wwgd suggested doesn't work then sadly your Alta has died.

Sorry I am of no more help. Because my suggestion worked for me. Just remember after leaving it on the charger for a while to push the reset button 3 times with a slight pause in between. then double tap the screen Of the fitbit. Do not forget to double tap the screen. In my efforts I do believe I push that reset button 3 times, about 3 tries at it. Hope you get some Help.
