Well it looks like we will be going to the web site.

Go the main web dashboard:

  1. Click on "Log" between "Dashboard" and "Community" towards the top of the screen.
  2. Click on the left arrow to the left of the green "Today".
  3. "Today" should be replaced by "Tue. Jan 9"
  4. If so, then log away.

Again - good luck.

Yes you can entry food for a previous day. I do it frequently, mainly because I enter a lot of custom food items into my account and sometimes don't have the correct figures until a day later.

I am going to give instructions on doing so using your phone - If you need instructions for using the web, let me know in a reply to this post.

In the app:

  1. On the main dashboard press on the Food icon
  2. On the Food page, scroll down to the day you want to enter food for.
  3. Press on the daily recap section for that day to get to the detail for that day.
  4. Press on the "+" sign at the top right
  5. Add your food like normal.
  6. When you press "Done" you will be returned to that day's detail page so you can see the change.

Tada!

Good luck and welcome to the boards.

Sorry - I completely forgot that when you select a food to add in the phone app on the screen where you have "Save" at the top right, you can change the date just below where you select which meal.

You can only go back two months, but you only need one day.

Stooooopid me.

This helped me for my Charge 2.  Without this information I could only add food on previous days if I had added at least one item...my biggest problem was logging but not saving.  Thank you.

The only thing that you can't add to another day is "quick calories", unless you've already added a normal food item in order to have a log for whichever day.

I forgot to log yesterday, but quickly added the calories (I had to manually add since everything was customized) and I had to add it as a custom food that I just labeled "daily intake".

I am using the Fitbit app in Android. There is no dashboard from what I can see. The day has ended, it is after midnight and I can no longer enter food in yesterday's calories in. The entire day is present in my head but can not be logged into my Samsung S3 Tablet.

It doesn't show Friday. So how can I edit it?

This has happened two days in a row now. I logged my breakfast and yesterday's breakfast appeared as well. However today (Monday), both Sunday and Saturday breakfasts appeared. This is a nuisance. I know how to delete, I know how to use the log. What's happening here...?  UPDATE:  THREE days in a row....
