My Alta keeps shutting down even with 70% battery level. It has been doing this for the past 2 weeks. Out of no where, i can go to check the time or my steps and no matter how many times I tap on it NOTHING!

I have to hook it to the charger just to get it to power back on!!

At first I thought the battery might be low, but then it will show it still has 50% or more battery power left.

C’mon Fitbit, what’s the deal???

i see there has been other posts about this!!

Hi @Yahne76  Have you tried restarting you Alta several times? If not give this a try. If it continues to randomly shut down then sadly it is dying.

Did your Fitbit get replaced or fixed?

Yes i have tried restarting it.

The only thing that has worked is me charging it every night.

My cousin who has the first Inspire fitbit has been having the same issue.
i wonder if this is a Fit it software issue….

i just know as a long time Fitbit customer, these constant software issues are making me frustrated and ready to jump to another brand!!

No because it is out of warranty so l am S.O.L.

They need to start offering some third party warranty like square trade

And I’m not going to buy another Fitbit if this is a software issue!

My cousin has the 1st Inspire tracker and she has been having the same issue!!

I AM COMPLETELY FRUSTRATED WITH FITBIT🤬

I have been charging it daily also but now it won't hold a charge for more than 9 hours. This is my 3rd fitbit but I to am thinking about going to another brand,  these are too expensive to keep replacing. Thank you for your response. Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone
