I was having the same issue with my Alta HR not syncing to my iPhone for about 2 weeks. There had been two previous app updates that did not fix the issue, but I just found out there was a third update not too long ago. So, I updated the app, forgot the device in my phone's BlueTooth settings, and reset my watch (by pressing the button on the charger x3 while the watch was attached). Then, I went in the app and re-paired my watch. I'm not sure which one of those steps worked, but my watch is syncing now. Maybe one of these steps will work for you?
