I recently purchased an Alta HR which arrived yesterday. After following instructions, charging, tapping screen etc it still fails to show anything on the screen. I have tried to re-boot as well, still nothing. Any advice or should I send it back and ask for a new one?

Hi @beg63 it might be good to restart the device a few times to see if that helps. Where did you get a new Alta HR? That series was retired in favor of the Inspire series. You might want to return it, as if it wasn't purchased new from an authorized retailer, there would be no warranty on it.

Thanks @Odyssey13. I bought it new from JB HiFi and it is in warranty. Have retried a few times to start it. No joy.

If it's local and easy enough to return, I'd probably return it. Sometimes it's easier to exchange it in the beginning and not have to deal with the problems. Let us know what happens.
