Hi, I just updated my phone to the iPhone XR and I am not receiving call and text notifications on my Fitbit.

That is a Supported Device so they should work. Have you got Show in History turned on in your phones settings? IPhone need that enabled.

I also cannot receive text or call notifications. I switched from iPhone to android. I've resynced the device about 7 times and have allow notifications turned on in my app as well as phone settings. Any ideas?

@Duggarca1980 what Android phome are you using (make and model)? Is it on the Supported Devices List?

I use the Samsung note 9, which is on the list. I've googled, and followed all directions I could find to resync, unpair, pair again, delete app, reinstall, all my phones settings have been adjusted. My husband and I have both spent a fair amount of time trying. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I was having the same problem and it was very frustrating. But I finally got mine to work after doing one stupid thing: I turned my “message preview” off. If you have the option turned on that allows you to read messages without unlocking your phone, the Fitbit assumes that it’s read and does not send you a notification. Hope that might help!

Hi there guys, great to have you in the Community Forums! 🙂
I'm sorry to hear you're having problems getting your notifications to your phones. I'd like to help you out!
I would suggest trying to remove your tracker from the connected Bluetooth devices on your phone and then, set up your tracker as a new device and see if that makes any difference. For this, go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone. On your connected devices, look for your tracker. Tap on it, then choose the option that says "Forget this device". Then, you can proceed to set up the tracker as a new device.
For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem and receiving notifications as usual.
Hope you find this helpful and if you still need more help, feel free to let us know! Thanks a lot for the help @NellyG!

Hi there 🙂
i too am in the same situation. I have done all the above. Forgot the device and then repaired many times. Thru Bluetooth in the XR and also on the Fitbit app. Notifications are correct too on phone and app...
Fitbit, do you know when this issues will be sorted? XR is not listed as a supported device for the Alta HR.

Mine was working great until about 4 days ago. Now I’m not getting any notifications. Fitbit has been updating bugs. They need to get this one fixed. This is the real reason I wear my Fitbit

I agree, this is a huge let down that this feature isn’t working.

Funny you say that, I loved my alta HR, but my husband went ahead and bought us Apple watches today to replace the missing feature. I just hope it will track my sleep and activity similarly to the Fitbit

Thank you for your response! Can you tell me did you lose all your previous logs when you removed the app and reinstalled? It would kill me if I lost all my logs and stats from the last few months.
