Number of calories burned decreasing after syncing Alra HR to app

Hello,

For the past several months my Alta HR has not correctly synced my calories burned. For example, approximately five minutes ago before syncing my fitbit, the calories burned on my fitbit said 1.2k, but after syncing it the dashboard says only 695 and has also changed the number on my fitbit to this lower one as well. What is going wrong that when syncing it makes it lower? It doesn't have any issues syncing any of my other stats.

Did you ever figure out how to fix this? Mine is doing the same thing

I didn’t, no and I quit using my FitBit and cancelled my subscription because of it.

Hiya,

If I remember correctly, I did a complete reboot and sync - deleting & reinstalling apps.

Hope this helps - good luck, so frustrating when technology fails us.

I did that half a dozen times over 3 different devices. It never helped. I just rebooted again yesterday and reinstalled the software on a brand new device just to check and it’s STILL doing it. I have the InspireHR AND the newer Charge one. So back in the drawer they go.

Oh I’m so sorry & Fitbit no longer have a helpline email do they?

Take a deep breath & try again from scratch another day... if they are still under warranty, you could try returning them?

Good Luck
