My Alta hr has started shutting off at random times. Very frustrating as the only way to get it back on is to plug it in to charger and hit restart. When I am gone all day that means I am wearing a dead watch for the rest of the day. It is only 21 months old. Is this all the longer I can expect it to last?

This just started happening with mine! I chatted with customer support and they offered a 25% off coupon 🙄. My Fitbit is 18 months old. Day 4 of it shutting off, it now shuts off as soon as I reset it.

which one did you choose to replace it with? I was thinking of getting the Charge 3 in that deep maroon color. I have fairly small wrists though and am concerned it may be too big for my wrist.

I haven’t replaced it yet 😕. I also have small wrists. I’m thinking of the charge 3.

Mine started a few months ago at the same age, and now every day I have to reset it. I think I’m going to switch trackers. This is the second Fitbit I’ve had and the previous only lasted about 2 years too. They’re too expensive to have a 1-2 year shelf life. Fitbit needs to work on their hardware and durability before I’ll buy another one.

Not worth buying another one, no matter how great the discount.....

Me too. Mine is about 22 months old. Same solution after my chat with service rep. Guess they don’t want to fix things only have you buy a new one. Frustrating!!

Yours is under warranty so they will replace for free.

Agreed!! Too much money to spend on a product that only lasts 2 years. 😡

I need to research to see if other products have longer life, to expensive to replace so frequently.
now I need to opt out of all notifications
