Step history is correct but not the dashboard step count

Hello! A new Fitbit user here. I have the Alta HR and use android (Note 8). My steps are synching because I see them logged on the history view but it doesn't show on the main dashboard page. Does anyone know how to fix this? Here is a link to the screenshot to explain the situation. Thank you!
