Syncing over and over and not finishing

Syncing keeps trying and failing and starting again. It partially works.

I just wrote a reply but I have no idea where it went. lol  I am writing it again with hopes that it will take. When my Alta HR does what you described, I do the following: 

  1. Go into my device and turn the bluetooth connection off and then on again. This usually fixes the issue. If not, I do Step 2
  2. Press and hold the little button on the charger cord for 10 seconds while your FitBit is charging. This is located on the USB end of the charging cord on official FitBit charging cords. It will reset the device but you will not lose any of the data from the FitBit that has not yet been downloaded.

Did you try clearing cache and force stop the Fitbit app?

I tried other tips before this one, including deleting and re-installing the App from my phone and resetting the Alta HR.  This tip was the one that got it working !  It was getting frustrating - many thanks
