I recently got a Samsung A50 phone. I have tried to connect my fitbit alta to the phone but it isn't working. Does Fitbit support the use of a Samsung A50 and if not when will it be supported?

I managed to sync my fitbit with my new A50 but i cant get the message or ring notifications. Most disappointing as this is useful when at work i can see if any message is urgent or can wait til my break. I contacted fitbit and they said its not on this phone

This answer make no sense. The bluetooth standard haven't change. My former vivoactive had no issue with synchronisation even after I changed phone.
I should have re-buy the same after I broke it.
I feel rip off. I would not have buy this product knowing it can only connect to a few specfic phone model. !!!
Can I get a refund ?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Serge-Jojo.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your feedback since this helps us to keep improving. While Samsung A50 has the specifications to be compatible and may work with the Fitbit app, it's possible to come across some issues along the way since it is not a supported device for the Fitbit app at this moment. Syncing difficulty is usually caused by a missing requirement and if your device is not syncing, I recommend following the complete troubleshooting steps from this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
If you purchased your product directly from Fitbit, please check our return policy here. If you've purchased from a retailer, you'll need to return your product directly to the retailer, following their return process. This is generally printed on your receipt, though you can also find it on the retailer's website. Note that we're unable to influence retailer policies. I appreciate your understanding.
I'll be around if you need further assistance.

Wow. 4 months later and this still isn't resolved. I got a Galaxy A50 2 months ago and everything was working fine until about 10 days ago when the device stopped syncing.
Now, I find this chat and see people have been trying to get this resolved for months. Geez. This is frustrating.
My Alta HR is only barely a year old and I was really enjoying it. Now it looks like you're basically saying we are all out of luck and should start looking into the Samsung device because 4 months later you still can't figure it out.

Wait, I think I figured it out. Are you folks just dragging your feet on these repair issues until you sell to Google?
Seems like even more reason for me to switch to a different brand of device.

Upgraded to an A50 phone (it's been around a while!) and frustrated to find that I cannot completely sync my charge 3. My stats update to the app on my phone but I'm not getting notifications or calls on my Fitbit. This was a very useful function for me when I'm working and cannot check my phone right away for urgent messages. Since the A50 is an older model phone, one would think Fitbit would have it sorted out by now! Disappointing and frustrating!

I have a Samsung A50 and Fitbit Charge3. It synchs and works fine. Very happy with it.
